S2RS.co.uk don't have that many old skool fords so when one of our sponsors says he's got a stand and does any of the club cars want to come...we jumped at the chance!

A.K Automotive is a well know garage in Ruislip run by one of our friends and members, Andy Kerr, he is well know for doing some excellent work on all makes and models inc his very own cossie powered Mk1 Escort.

What some of you don't know is that 2 days before the show, Andy picked his car up from the body shop as a bare shell, and spending all waking hours on it managed to not only get it to the show he even ran it up the strip and managed a 13.6second 1/4 mile, that's faster than when it was built last time! (video at the bottom of the page)

The show was heaving with loads of old skool goodies to look around as well as a very busy 1/4 mile showing off how well old ford just don't die... they just get faster, even some street legal Pro ET cars were running and getting under 8 seconds.
