Words by MMartin, Photos by Various This was our best show turn out and again the biggest single club stand at the show, we boasted a full 35 cars on the stand and was even in the main show field this year, thanks to the efforts of Gavin and Tracey with there organising. We all meet in the normal place, with some only agreeing to a 7.30am if McDonalds if it was open... and sadly we all went hungry as it wasn't!, but being that we had a lot more cars than normal we over spilled slightly on the road and joining side roads, there were lots of new With all people arrived we all jumped in the cars and headed to the show ground in a huge convoy, arriving at the show ground, we finally found the stand and began setting up and preparing for the show. The were various club and show stands, and throughout the day a busy arena with lots going on, its not your normal auto show with lots of charity stall, local business stall and a funfair for the kids, there was also a stand from the London Motor Museum with some excellent motors inc a gorgeous GT500 Shelby Mustang. Some of you may have spotted a "different" model of car that was with us, and yes i know we are a Ford club but we had a space for one extra which came in the form of a BMW, this was no ordinary BMW though as the owner has done a unique modification as it wasn't quick enough to start... check Justin's featured members page for why we has this on our stand
On a side note, we are now collecting for Help for Hero's at each show, and we managed to raise £150 towards the charity, and our resident "Membership Pimp" Fonfe was doing his best to make sure people donated.
The day was a great success with our best turn out yet!, and we would also like to say congrats to Dan "Grid90" who won the best car on stand award this year, with his modded mk6 fez
